Inside Peak Five: Huston Hamlin
Huston has been an avid cyclist his entire life and began mountain biking nearly 15 years ago. His riding journey began shortly after his family moved to the mountains of western North Carolina. Surrounded by dense forests and an extensive trail network, he quickly immersed himself in the local riding community and developed a deep passion for the sport.

Throughout his teenage years and into college, Huston stayed closely connected to the western North Carolina mountain biking scene. Between working at a local bike shop, riding with local clubs, and lining up for races, he gained hands-on experience across multiple sides of the cycling world.
Huston earned his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Appalachian State University and brings a strong design mindset and problem-solving approach to everything he does. After graduation, he headed west to Salt Lake City in search of new opportunities and world-class riding.

After moving west, Huston connected with Jack Bittel through a mutual friend. When Peak Five began expanding its team, Huston was a first-round pick. His industry background, operational instincts, and deep passion for bikes made him an easy addition. He has been instrumental to the recent growth Peak Five has experienced.
As General Manager at Peak Five Collective, Huston keeps daily operations running smoothly across both the warehouse and the website, making sure inventory moves fast, orders ship on time, and standards stay high. He plays a key role in scaling the business while preserving the quality Peak Five is known for. Huston also doubles as Peak Five’s in-house DJ—usually spinning LCD Soundsystem, Queens of the Stone Age, and Parcels on repeat.
